We are looking for CAD operators and engineers with experience in the design of fabricated and machined systems. Successful candidates will produce mechanical design solutions from concept through manufacturing drawings to installation using AutoCAD/Inventor. Operators will work under direction of the Head of Design within a small and flexible team. Site visits and surveys form an integral part of the role. Good communication skills essential. Rural location near Northampton.
AutoCAD Operators
We are looking for competent CAD operators to support the highly experienced engineering and rigging design team. Office based near Northampton, this is an ideal opportunity to develop AutoCAD skills within a growing industry sector. Operators will work under direction of the Head of Design within a small and flexible team.
Operations Assistant (Logistics)
The operations team is the hub of the output of Unusual Rigging. Looking after the resourcing of labour and equipment, Unusual now requires an individual to focus on the logistics of consolidation, despatch and transport. A highly organised individual and a dedicated team player will need to ensure that deliveries fully meet our client expectations. This position is office based at out premises outside Northampton

Starting at our premises near Northampton, the opportunity to learn about the range of technical disciplines supporting our project work offers an excellent grounding prior to any chosen specialisation. The range of specialist avenues vary, depending on the technical demands of the marketplace and candidate suitability. We currently have capacity to take on two candidates in this career development programme.
Entertainment Industry Riggers
LOCATION: EARLS COURT - LONG-TERM CONTRACTS
Experienced in steel wire rope rigging from MEWP’s and at height in the exhibition and concert arena-rigging environment.
Current Safe Working at Height training certificate (e.g. Spanset/Bacou Dalloz)
Current IPAF Mobile Articulated Boom Access Training certificate.
Current Fork Lift training certificate (ITSSAR/RTITB).
