Unusual Rigging and Engineering was contracted to provide all rigging and associated services for the event, and also had responsibility for auditing the safety of all suspended items in the four main halls and all exhibitions booths.
From the smallest shell schemes to the international pavilion areas to the 800 sq m stand of Abu Dhabi based Mubadala and 775 sq m stand of EADS (European Aeronautic Defence and Space Company), the requirements of the exhibitors were many and varied. Ensuring these met the event's rigorous health and safety regulations, Unusual Rigging and Engineering employed both their local team and a group of specialists from Unusual Rigging in the UK.
